Why is my movie not working on psp?
I recently downloaded reservoir dogs from a website called stagevu.com (I already have it on DVD but it’s in french from the person I bought it from). I wanted to put it on my psp to watch so I used DVD Video Soft free studio and chose free video to ipod and psp converter. I converted it and put it in F:\MP_ROOT\100MNV01 I then named it m4v00001 and unplugged the usb. I then tried to watch it but it said Corrupted data. I have firmware 3.71 m33-2 and I have no other videos on the memory stick.

you put it into the folder called "Movie" on your psp directory when you plug it into your PC and make sure its mp4 format or m-peg4
if you don’t put it into the movie folder then the psp can’t detect the file.
just try these directories where you put your movie
F:\MP_ROOT\Movie
F:\Movie
F:\PSP\Movie

PSP supports only MP4-AVC video, not general MP4 video, please make sure your video is compatible with PSP. Assume your video has the right format, you just need to copy the mp4 video to the "Video" folder in your psp memory stick, done. If you don’t have the video folder, just create it by yourself. If you want to know how to convert DVD and video to PSP compatible video, I’d recommend this step by step guide to you, it works pretty well for me.
